Kids for Kids
Anudeep and Aneesh started KidsforKidsTennis, non-profit camp in 2008 with an idea to combine their passion and love for tennis and giving-back to the community. They want to introduce tennis to young kids (6-13 years) in the Triangle area and the surrounding communities who lack resources to learn and play tennis. They started with 20 kids in 2008 at Cary Tennis Park. Camps became very popular and had more than 100 kids next year. So far, they had more than 200 kids participated in their camps. Each kid received a free tennis racket and 4 hours of tennis instruction. Some campers also received a T- shirt and a can of balls. With a tennis racket and 4 hours of tennis instruction, kids can improve and play this sport, keeping them active and healthy. Anu and Aneesh have involved local tennis coaches and their friends in these camps.
